Davis Technology Conference

Our second annual technology conference was held today. I was the conference coordinator. It has been a few months of very labor-intensive preparations but it paid off because the conference went off without a hitch!

We had 13 breakout sessions; each offered 3-4 times during the day. We received lots of wonderful comments concerning the conference and the sessions.

I worried about feeding over 300 people at the same time, but it went well.

We had a lot of fun holding a couple of drawings throughout the day tor teachers to win technology equipment for their classrooms. We gave away document cameras, Mobi systems, a clicker set, Flip video cameras and portable external hard drives.  It was a relief when the conference was over and to receive positive feedback, but I have rarely been as exhausted as I was that evening!
