The weather decided to cooperate and it was very pleasant sitting for an hour and visiting with friends and ward members. I visited for quite awhile with my friend, John Sessions. It was his younger brother's reception. John and I go way back - to Clinton Elementary and SEM. Whenever we run into each other he brings up his fond memories of attending SEM. He's one of my favorite people. Tonight he again brought up the "Stories with Holes" books I used in my classes. These were short mystery stories. The kids could only ask questions in which I could answer with a "yes" or "no." There was a lot of deductive thinking going on and the kids LOVED these, especially John. John and his wife had their first baby a month ago and recently moved to Arizona so he could attend medical school.
Gallivan Center archway, covered with wisteria. This must be amazing when in bloom.
