Bacon Teeth
Yup, bacon teeth. Cathy and I went to Chilis for soup today. When the waiter brought our soups, he gave my Enchilada Soup to Cathy and her Potato Soup to me. Then he leaned close to me and said, "I didn't put the bacon in because of your teeth." Cathy said the potato soup was hers and that she did want the bacon. Then he left to bring her a container of bacon. I whispered to Cathy, "What's wrong with my teeth?? Maybe I better not open my mouth." We got the giggles and tried to figure out what was so wrong with my teeth that a perfect stranger would comment! He then came back to our table, brought the bacon and said he got us mixed up with another table where the woman had just been to the dentist.

A Cold Sunset
It seems that even on cold smoggy days there's always something to photo. Loved this old tractor sitting in the snow, waiting for spring. Even the sun seems cold tonight.

What is it with Men and Directions??

I decided to buy a treadmill with my December jewelry earnings. It was a very good month. The treadmill was delivered Friday, and Mike put it together Saturday afternoon. This bright pink warning paper was on the velcro strap in plain sight. In essence it states that if you remove the velcro strap before setting the (very heavy- 130 pound) treadmill flat on the ground, the piston mechanism and bars underneath the treadmill deck which allow it to fold up could spring open and cause injury. Which is exactly what happened, throwing Mike against the wall. His pride was the only thing injured, but we cannot get the piston to work properly now and the treadmill will not fold up out of the way. I am able to run on it and will call tech support in the morning:)

Bowl of Circular Objects
This wooden bowl of balls sits on the family room table. I like the different textures, such as fabric, the natural elements of seed and sticks, the rock which has "faith" carved into it, and the magazine strips. The wooden rattle is old, and is a favorite when the grandbabies come to play. My favorite? The glass door knobs, which were my Grandmother Wardle's.
