Geese and Pigs

A cute pair of geese live next to the dirty pig.

Carrie bought this pig to raise and kill for Thanksgiving. It was cute when it was little. She hauled it home iin the back of her PT Cruiser. She thought the farmer was going to have a coronary. No, she didn't name it. And yes, it's gross and dirty.

JSMB with Nelda and Jonie

My Aunt Nelda's childhood friend, Jonie, and her husband, Glen are hosts at the JSMB. I took off work early and we met them at the Garden Restaurant, then Nelda and I attended the movie about Joseph Smith and met up with Jonie afterwards. We had such a great evening.

.

Jonie met us after the movie and walked the grounds with us. She pointed out the far red building, telling us that President Hinckley lived in the top apartment.

The grounds outside the JSMB were so beautiful.

We noticed what we thought were a bunch of brides, but as we got closer we realized it was a Young Women's group. They were taking turns dressing up in wedding dresses, then posing in front of the Temple.

Butterfly Bush

The butterfly bush returns every year. It lives up to its name, attracting butterflies with it's fragrant smell.

Sunflower Volunteer in the Yard

Albion Basin

I finally made it up to Albion Basin to see the amazing wildflowers. They did not disappoint.

The first thing Cathy and I saw were two moose!

The Trampoline

We ran over to Dave and Shaury's this afternoon to help them with some computer stuff and to help Dave hang a chandelier. Shaury was at work. Ez and I went outside to jump on the trampoline. I don't believe I've ever done that before. We had so much fun, but it's hard work, and a little hard on the knees. Then Jonah and Hazel joined us. Ez and Jonah both took pictures of Gram on the trampoline.
