Painting and the Park

We painted a room this morning at Mom's in preparation for getting ready to sell the house.

We took the grandkids to the park this afternoon. It's nice to have beautiful weather when tending, so we can be outside.

No people in this photo - just voices. Jonah said, "Gram, stand here and listen!" Then he ran to the other end of the playground to the speaker. I heard a sweet little voice say: "Gram. I love you!"

Put Your Feet Up

Some days it's just so nice to come home and put my feet up. So glad it's Friday.

Deer Crossing

Today our co-worker, Joanna, was told that because of budget cuts she would have to go back to the classroom. We were devastated. Cathy and I ran up to Joanna's house in Bountiful right after work. These deer were crossing the road.

After our visit we decided to eat pizza at Arella's in Bountiful. Delicious pizza and beautiful lighting.

La Ferrovia

 Our quilt group decided to meet at La Ferrovia for dinner. It's on historic 25th Street in Ogden. Upon Janet's recommendation we all tried the calzones. I had the Spinaci Calzone. It was delicious, and enough for two meals.

Oregon Grape Blossoms

Oregon Grape grows along the front of my house. In the spring little yellow flowers bloom.

In Your Golden Chain of Friendships...

This was my mother's autograph book when she was just a girl. My sister, her girls and my girls had such fun reading through this sweet book.

The page is opened to her grandmother's message. dated 1937. "In your golden chain of friendships, let me be one little link."

Blossoms at Moms

Mom had this tree planted a couple of year's ago in her back yard. I felt sad that spring blossoms were so late blooming this year and she missed the beauty.
