Cantaloupe and Ice Cream

Wendy's Cat

 Wendy asked us to keep her cat while she was at girl's camp. We had her - er...him..for a week. I might as well correct myself right now, since every time I talk about this cat I call her..I mean him...a her. And I get CORRECTED every single time. It gets a little tiring to be CORRECTED all the time about something so silly as a CAT. She's - oops...he's a good cat.. and for some strange reason she --- he likes me. The reason WHY it is strange is because I don't really care for cats - him-s or her-s...

Happy Birthday, America

A Saturday in Logan

The day started out bright and early with a trip to West Clinton Elementary by 8:20 to pick up my bountiful basket and three cases of blueberries. An hour later they were all packaged and in the freezer.

It was Mike's 60th birthday and we headed up to Logan to meet Jared, Carrie, Weston and Lacie. We ate at the Bluebird Cafe (a yearly tradition) and then headed over to the Cache Valley Cruise In.

I wanted to go home a different way so we headed toward Smithfield. I turned the car around when I noticed an old dirt road leading to a broken down shack and wonderful views of the marshes.

Volunteers

I just love it when I discover something (besides weeds) growing in my yard and I didn't plant it. These are fun little daisies from my neighbor, Frank's yard.

Lounging Around

I picked up this gravity chair at Costco awhile back for less than half of other store prices ($43). It's pretty comfortable. Now...I just need to make the time to use it!
