Dragonflies

There seems to be more dragonflies this summer. Why? Did the wet spring have anything to do with it?

Biking with Weston and Lacie

We tended Lacie and Weston tonight. Jared and Carrie brought Weston's bike and Lacie's trailer. We went on a long ride on the trail, then let the kids play at Holt's playground.

Weston is the spittin' image on Jared, when Jared was five.

Bumble Bee

What a challenge to capture a photo of a bumble bee that's not blurry! I'll have to keep practicing! This interesting species has been in my yard the past few years.

Homeshow

Wendy's Cat

 Wendy asked us to keep her cat while she was at girl's camp. We had her - er...him..for a week. I might as well correct myself right now, since every time I talk about this cat I call her..I mean him...a her. And I get CORRECTED every single time. It gets a little tiring to be CORRECTED all the time about something so silly as a CAT. She's - oops...he's a good cat.. and for some strange reason she --- he likes me. The reason WHY it is strange is because I don't really care for cats - him-s or her-s...
